Aida Marie Ruhl, 90, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 4:52 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, where she had been a resident since 2008.
She was born May 12, 1929, in Turbotville, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Heddings) Cromley. On May 6, 1950, at the Dreisbach United Church of Christ, Lewisburg, she married Eugene E. Ruhl, who preceded her in death in 1984.
Aida was a 1948 graduate of Turbotville High School.
She was employed at Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, for 14 years.
Aida was a member of the Dreisbach Unied Church of Christ, Lewisburg.
She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, drawing, gardening, flowers, searchword puzzles, and animals, especially pigs.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dale and Linda Ruhl of Danville, Gary and Rose Ruhl of Mifflinburg, and Todd Ruhl and his fiancé Deanna Aikey of Mifflinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dale Wintersteen of Danville; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Sandy Cromley of Watsontown; three sisters, Florence Keister of Mifflinburg, Betty Burrows of Milton, and Thelma Day of Carlisle; four grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Lynn, in infancy; two sisters, Elizabeth Walburn and Pauline McKee; and one great granddaughter, Shannon Ruhl.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Nathan Druckenmiller, officiating.
Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
