Aldon Ray Delcamp, 90, formerly of 2040 West Market St., Lewisburg, entered into rest at 7:55 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he had been a resident for one year.
He was born January 30, 1926, in Mifflinburg, a son of the late Charles Edward and Anna Elizabeth (Albert) Delcamp.
Aldon was a 1944 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
He served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific from April 3, 1944 until his honorable discharge April 30, 1946.
Aldon was employed as a photographer for Rasbach Photography, Connecticut.
He enjoyed wildlife and taking photographs of animals.
Aldon was a member of the Lewisburg American Legion Post 182.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, and six sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., Mifflinburg.
