Alice L. Reitenbach

Lewisburg

Alice Lucille (Feaster) Reitenbach, 93, of 275 Red Ridge Rd., Lewisburg, for the past 67 years, went home to be with the Lord and her departed loved ones at 10:55 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 14, 1931, a daughter of the late Donald B. and Miriam (Emery) Feaster, on the family farm southwest of Lewisburg. At age 9, she moved with her family to the Col. John Kelly farm in western Kelly Township, on which she and her husband would eventually build their home. On April 5, 1952, she married Carl R. Reitenbach, who preceded her in death October 14, 2017. They were married for 65 years.

Alice was a 1949 graduate of Lewisburg High School.

Earlier in life, she was employed at Farm Bureau and JPM Co., Lewisburg.

Alice loved the Lord and was a founding member of Hillside Bible Church, Mifflinburg, where she sang in the choir. She was active in Snyder-Union County Child Evangelism Fellowship, where she taught Good News Clubs, and earlier in life was involved in the Lewisburg Christian Women's Club.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping, and hosted many family events at her home. Alice looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Merrill and Alice Reitenbach, Robert and Pamela Reitenbach, and Rodney and Brenda Reitenbach, all of Mifflinburg; one daughter, Susan Miller of Mifflinburg; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Autumn and Andy Shively, Aaron and Stacy Reitenbach, Anson and Amy Reitenbach, Brett and Elisabeth Reitenbach, Laura and Isaac Walton, Allison Reitenbach, Angelina Reitenbach, Connor Miller, and Reba Miller; 5 step-grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 16 step-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Marvin Feaster; one grandson, Cody Miller; one step-grandson, Todd Miller; one son-in-law, Clair Miller.

Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 26, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, and from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, December 27, at the Hillside Bible Church, 1650 Centennial Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Brett Reitenbach and Pastor Robert Strobel, officiating.

Burial will be in the Hillside Bible Church Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Wellspan Evangelical Internal Medicine and Dr. Keith Johnson, and Residential Skilled Nursing and Hospice for their care of our mom over the last few years.
