Alice M. Taylor, 94, Mifflinburg

Alice Mae Taylor, 94, formerly of 805 Chestnut St., for 40 years, entered into rest at 3:15 a.m., Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Kramm Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Milton, where she had been a resident for the past 5 years.

She was born November 22, 1917, in Hartley Township, a daughter of the late William and Dora (Brawley) Taylor.

Alice was a 1935 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church.

Alice was employed at Par-Knit Mills, Mifflinburg, for 35 years.

Surviving are three nieces, Helen J. and her husband Frank Beirfriend of Washingtonville, Susan J. and her husband Henry Sanders of Middleburg, and Sally A. and her husband Terry Kline of Mifflinburg; and one nephew, Robert H. Taylor and his companion Arla Buss of New Berlin.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Harold Taylor; and two sisters, Mildred Noble and Helen Taylor.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Ronald Warfle, officiating.

Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
