Amanda L. Waltman, 22, New Berlin
Amanda Lee Waltman, 22, of 619 Market St., entered eternal rest Saturday afternoon, June 30, 2012, in Buffalo Township, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born July 8, 1989, in Williamsport, a daughter of Michael P. Waltman of New Berlin, and Cassandra Dee (Boughter) and her husband Charles Stengel of Mifflinburg.
Amanda attended the Mountain View Community Church, Richfield.
She was a 2008 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School. Amanda was studying nursing at Harrisburg Area Community College.
Amanda was employed at Country Cupboard Restaurant, Lewisburg.
She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephew. Amanda participated in soccer, gymnastics, and cheerleading. She was a personable and lovable person, and had a great ability to make people smile.
Surviving in addition to her parents, are two sisters, Melissa S. Shoemaker of Mifflinburg, and Brittany L. Waltman of New Berlin; grandparents, Barry and Connie Boughter of Lewisburg, and Sandy Heimbach of Montandon; great grandmother, Theda Boughter of Lewisburg; and nieces and nephew, Sonja, Savannha, and Keagen Shoemaker, all of Mifflinburg.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harvey Heimbach.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Friday, at the Winfield Baptist Church, 330 State Route 304, Winfield, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Pastor Pusey A. Losch, officiating.
Burial will be in the Montandon Cemetery.
