Arlene Mae Workman, 89, of 6250 Old Turnpike Rd., Lewisburg, since 1973, entered into rest at 6:58 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
She was born March 5, 1929, in New Berlin, a daughter of the late Ralph and Myrtle (Blett) Stimmel. She was married to George L. Workman, Jr., who survives.
Arlene attended the God’s Missionary Church, Millmont.
She enjoyed reading and traveling.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 65 years, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Betty Stimmel of Mifflinburg and George L., III and Donna Workman of Manheim; two daughters and one son-in-law, Susan Keefer of Lewisburg, and Cindy and Dean Raker of Sunbury; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Stimmel; four sisters, Bertha Leitzel, Sara Foreman, Norma Spaid, and Esther Stimmel; son-in-law, E. Wayne Keefer; and a great granddaughter, Jasmine Arlene Hollenbach
Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2, with Rev. Fred Bennett, officiating.
Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
