Bettie Catherman

Bettie May Catherman, 88, formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 9:25 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at Nursing and Rehab at The Mansion, Sunbury.

She was born November 7, 1932 in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Tobias and Elizabeth (Derr) Catherman.

Bettie was employed at Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, from 1951 until retirement in 1997.

She enjoyed gardening, picking berries, day trips through the mountains, projects with her son-in-law. Having family adventures, where you could never tell her she coudnt do something.  Dont forget those shopping trips with her sisters and sister-in-law.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Kay Ann and Richard Stahl, Sr. of Northumberland; two brothers, James Catherman and Glenn Catherman; three sisters, Helen Raker, Jean Marquart, and Patricia Zechman; three grandchildren, Barb Mordan, Rich Stahl Jr., and Crystal Stackhouse; 8 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Burial in Mifflinburg Cemetery will be held privately.

Bettie was a loving fun lady, that will be deeply missed.
