Betty Bottiger

MIFFLINBURG – Betty E. Bottiger, 91, of 12 Bogar Lane, since 1978, entered into rest at 1:08 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
She was born March 20, 1923, in Milton, a daughter of the late Edgar and Jenny Miller. On November 27, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia, she married G. Frank Bottiger, who preceded her in death March 29, 2010.
Betty was a 1941 graduate of Milton High School
She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mifflinburg.
Betty was employed at Lewis Pharmacy, Mifflinburg, and later worked in the radiology department at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Surviving are two sons, Gary P. Bottiger, and Larry D. Bottiger, both of Mifflinburg; and one granddaughter, Sarah Bottiger of New York.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Peter Bergstresser, officiating.
Burial will be in the Mazeppa Union Cemetery.
