Betty J. Shoemaker, 81, of 18320 Old Turnpike Rd., Millmont, for 51 years, entered into rest at 6:30 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 9, 1936, in Swengel, a daughter of the late Lester and Fern (Ruhl) Vonada. On November 6, 1965, in Laurelton, she married Roger E. Shoemaker, who survives.
Betty was a graduate of Lewisburg High School.
She was employed as a L.P.N. at the Laurelton Center for over 20 years. Earlier in life, she worked at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, and Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
Betty enjoyed making dolls, camping, and traveling with her husband.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 52 years, are one daughter and son-in-law, Trina K. and Bryan Decker of Millmont; one grandson, Brandon Decker; one half-brother, Robert Elliott; and one half-sister, Carol Jean Bower.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Hartleton Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
