Beverly Scheffler

Beverly A. Scheffler, 64, of 132 Wheaton Place, Harrisburg, formerly of Millmont, entered into rest at 6:30 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Pinnacle Health Community General Hospital, Harrisburg.

She was born August 11, 1952, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Delight A. (Davis) Showalter of Millmont, and the late Robert Showalter.  On September 7, 2007, in Middleburg, she married Jeffrey Scott Scheffler, who survives.

Beverly was a 1971 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and earned her Masters degree in Communications at William Patterson College in 1995.

She attended the Grace Fellowship Church, Harrisburg.

Beverly was employed as an Administrative Secretary at Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 13 years, and later was an Adjunct Professor at William Patterson College.

She enjoyed crafts, painting, and sewing.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother, are one brother and sister-in-law, Forrest and Torey Showalter of Millmont; 2 nieces, Kyla Varney and Corrin Zechman; and 2 nephews, Cain Showalter and Kalvin Showalter.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where a celebration of life service will be conducted at 7, with Rev. John Yost, officiating.
