Brenda Sampsell

Brenda K. Sampsell, 68, of Lewisburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:21 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born October 8, 1955 in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Bryan W. and Arla (Erb) Hartman. On September 25, 1971, she married Kennard R. “Bob” Sampsell, Sr. They remarried on April 28, 1978.

Brenda was a graduate of Penns Valley High School. Later in life, she obtained her associate degree in office management from McCann School of Business.

She enjoyed playing bingo, puzzles, reading books, football, going to the beach, watching her children play Little League, listening to music, and attending concerts.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 52 years, are three sons and daughters-in-law, Kennard R. “Bob” Jr. and Lisa Sampsell of Mifflinburg, Bryan and Letitia Sampsell of Lewisburg, and Brandon Sampsell of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Carissa, Brooke, Linley, and Logan Sampsell; one brother, Kenneth Hartman and Sandy of New Columbia.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and William Hartman.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
