Carol Mae Reamer, 77, of 10 N. 10th St., entered into rest at 8:04 a.m., Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, where she had been a resident since June 15th. She and her husband lived in Merritt Island, Florida, for 18 winters.
She was born July 2, 1936, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late John R. and Myra H. (Adams) George. On January 2, 1984, in Merritt Island, Florida, she married John N. Reamer, who survives.
Carol was a 1954 graduate of Catawissa High School.
She was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, where she served on the worship committee and helped with making easter eggs.
Carol enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards, working at the Bloomsburg Fair, and traveling on bus trips. She and her husband enjoyed camping at Hidden Valley Camp Ground, Mifflinburg, for 34 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 30 years, are three daughters and sons-in-law, Janice M. and Montana Schlegel of Millmont, Louise J. and Warren Styers of Mifflinburg, and Dawn E. and Ronald Randler of Danville; two grandchildren, Jennifer M. Fenstermacher of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Kyle C. Miller of Pittsburgh; two great grandchildren, Stephen and Samantha Fenstermacher; one great great granddaughter, Willow J. Fenstermacher; one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Dolly George of Catawissa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Robert Rupert of Milton, and Janet and Larry Kirkman of Durand, Michigan; and one brother-in-law, James K. Huff.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda B. Huff.
A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, 279 Market St., Mifflinburg, with Rev. Elizabeth Taylor, officiating.
A time of fellowship with light refreshments with the family will immediately follow the service in the church Family Life Center.
