Caroline H. Wenrick, 101, of 401 Main St., Hartleton, entered into rest at 8:12 p.m., Monday, December 10, 2018, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.
She was born May 11, 1917, in Cherry Run, a daughter of the late George and Ruth (Wilson) Bilger. On September 2, 1939, she married Norman O. Wenrick, Sr., who preceded her in death on May 17, 1981.
Caroline was a 1934 graduate of Mifflinburg high school and attended Bloomsburg University.
She worked at Kooltex in Mifflinburg, Quaker in Lewisburg, and as an aide at the Laurelton Center.
Caroline was a member of Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Millmont.
She enjoyed working in the church food stand at the West End Fair and was a member of the Laurelton Women’s Club.
Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, Norman O. and Rebecca Wenrick, Jr. of Aaronsburg, Robert F. Wenrick of Withee, Wisconsin, Richard E. and Lucille Wenrick of Colby, Wisconsin, and Forrest W. and Nancy Wenrick of Laurelton; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Bilger Jr., and Eugene Bilger; four sisters, Laura Kauffman, Lottie Knorr, Pauline Thompson, and June Tyson; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Martin Wenrick in 2006.
Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, at Christ’s United Lutheran Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Rd., Millmont, where the funeral service will be conducted at 2, with Rev. John Yost, officiating.
Burial will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
