Charles "Chuck" D. Erickson

Charles “Chuck” D. Erickson, 54, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 3:40 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

He was born May 26, 1970, in Lewisburg, a son of the late N. Douglas and Janice B. (Bower) Erickson. On April 20, 1996, in Lewisburg, he married the former Lisa K. Quinlan, who survives.

Chuck was a 1988 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University in Elementary Education in 1992.

He was employed at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Allenwood, as an Education Specialist, for 20 years, until he retired in 2021.

Chuck was a member of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Penn State Chapter, and the Buffalo Valley Sportsmen’s Club, Mifflinburg.

He enjoyed watching Penn State football and University of Connecticut women’s basketball, and playing golf.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 28 years, are one daughter, Olivia Erickson of Lancaster; one brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Gail Erickson of Mifflinburg; one sister, Susan Hoover of Lewisburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, at St. George Catholic Church, 775 Forest Hill Rd., Mifflinburg, where a funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Edward J. Quinlan, V.G., Father Fred Wangwe, A.J., and Rev. Peter Henry, as celebrants. 

Burial will be in Mazeppa Union Cemetery.
