MIFFLINBURG a�" Charles William Hulsizer, 65, of 8386 Col. John Kelly Rd., entered into rest Friday, October 24, 2014, at his home.
He was born September 1, 1949, in Milton, a son of the late Robert L. and Anna L. (Kleckner) Hulsizer.
Charles was a 1967 graduate of Milton Area High School.
He was a lineman for the Buffalo Valley Telephone Company for 27 years and worked construction earlier in life. Charles also owned Stoney Acres Farm and Kennel where he raised Labrador Retrievers.
He was a member of the Circle M Saddle Club, West End Lions Club, the Buffalo Valley Sportsman Club and the Union County Sportsman Club where he served as a trustee.
Charles was an avid hunter, gun collector and well known for his marksmanship.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Christy S. Allabach of Muncy, and Wendy A. and Jeff McClintock of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Janet Swartz of Milton; one sister and brother-in-law, Peg and Bill Lynn of Milton; five grandchildren, Anna and Cassidy McClintock of Mifflinburg, Marley and Paxton Derr, and Mason Allabach of Muncy; and his companion of 15 years, Linda L. Englehardt of Mifflinburg and her extended family.
Charles was preceded in death by four brothers: Rickie, Kenneth, Robert, and Gary Hulsizer; and one sister, Mary Stewart.
Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 15th, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where a memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m., with Rev. Daniel Hicks of the Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church, officiating.
