Charlotte A. Cross, 63, Lewisburg

Charlotte Anne Cross, 63, of 2526 Smoketown Rd., since 1980, entered into rest at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010, at her home.

She was born September 22, 1946, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Chester E. and Audrey Jean (Smith) Briggs. On June 12, 1980, she married Leo A. Cross, who survives.

Charlotte was a 1964 graduate of Haverford High School.

She was employed as a computer systems analyst at Fiberweb, Greenville, South Carolina (fomerly International Paper).

Charlotte attended Mifflinburg United Methodist Church.

She was an active Girl Scouts volunteer and was the director of the Thunder Boomer Camp from 1995 a�" 2007.

Charlotte enjoyed wildlife and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 30 years, are two daughters and one son-in-law, Stephanie A. Cross of Philadelphia, and Samantha C. and David J. Ulrich of Winfield; and one brother and sister-in-law, Chester E. Jr. and Mary K. Briggs of Penn Yan, NY.

There are no public funeral services planned at this time.
