Clarence “Butch” Albert Ettinger, 72, of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 1:06 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born November 29, 1952, in Lewistown, a son of the late Edward and Mary (Stine) Ettinger. On January 17, 1971, he married the former Debra A. Bingaman, who survives.
Clarence attended Chief Logan School, Lewistown.
He was employed at Beaver Shoe Factory, Beaver Springs, Watsontown Foundry, and Yorktowne Kitchens, Mifflinburg.
Clarence was a loving, devoted, kindhearted and caring husband and father. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. Clarence enjoyed listening to Porter Wagoner, spending time with his family, and transporting the Amish. He always found happiness and joy even in difficult situations. Clarence will be dearly missed by everyone!
Surviving in addition to his wife of 54 years, are three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Brian Guffey of Lewisburg, Linda and Tim Kerstetter of Mifflinburg, and Tracy and Bob Woolsey of Shamokin; six grandchildren, Derrick Ettinger, Clint Marks, Cory Kerstetter, and Dakota, Elizabeth, and Harvey Woolsey; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Lou Colyer of Lewistown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Ettinger Sr., and Edward Ettinger; and three sisters, Clara Catherine Ettinger, Ethel Kearns, and Brenda Swartz.
Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
