Cynthia "Cindy" J. Haggy

Cynthia “Cindy” J. Haggy, 69, of 211 Log Cabin Lane, Lewisburg, entered into rest Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born March 22, 1955, in Stamping Ground, Kentucky, a daughter of Mary Jane (Boyer) Feaster of Mifflinburg, and the late Eugene “Nut” L. Feaster. On January 15, 2000, she married Duane V. Haggy, who survives.

Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, Laurelton Center, Selinsgrove Center, Muncy State Prison, Riverwoods, Lewisburg, and Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg. 

She enjoyed reading, and flower gardening.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband of 24 years, are two sisters and one brother-in-law, Terri Ann Feaster of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Angela and James Aikey of Mazeppa; nieces Mallory Evano of Centre Hall, and Randi Lynn Caffarelli of Virginia Beach, Virginia; great nieces, Charli and Danika; and cousins, Scott Weaver of Mifflinburg, and Mary Trees of Minnesota. 

She was preceded in death by one brother, Dan Feaster.

Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Alice Rauch, officiating.

Burial will be in Mifflinburg Cemetery.
