Darrell "Butch" L. Wagner, Sr.

Darrell L. “Butch” Wagner, Sr., 82, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 11:22 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2024, at home.

He was born December 3, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, a son of the late Edna Grace Wagner. On August 15, 1991, he married the former Sharon L. Keefer, who survives.

Darrell served in the Navy during the Viet Nam era from 1960 until his honorable discharge in 1964.

He was employed at Carpetman, Milton, for 40 years.

Darrell was a board member of the New Berlin American Legion Post 957.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard sales, shopping, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 33 years, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell L., Jr. and Maria Wagner of Penns Creek, and Chad and Brittany Clark of Elizabethtown; step-father, Milan Wagner of Lewisburg; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 27, at the Forest Hill Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by New Berlin American Legion Post 957.
