David “Grumper” A. Camp, Sr., 53, of 9575 Buffalo Rd., Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 1:50 a.m., Sunday, January 28, 2018, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Forest Hill Rd., Mifflinburg.
He was born August 18, 1964, in Lewisburg, a son of Bernice (Benfer) Camp of Mifflinburg, and the late Donald Camp. On May 6, 2006, he married the former Charlotte M. Delcamp, who survives.
David attended West Snyder High School
He was employed at Ritz-Craft, Mifflinburg.
David was a member of the Mifflinburg Moose and Mifflinburg V.F.W.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, are four sons and one daughter-in-law, David Camp, Jr., Scott Camp, Gene and Tiff Camp, all of Lewisburg, and Matthew Wargo of Millmont; one daughter and son-in-law, Tabbetha and Brant Cassell of Illinois; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Sharon Camp of Middleburg, and Alvin and Stacie Camp of Mifflinburg; one sister, Connie Swartzlander of Mifflinburg; many grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where a memorial service will be conducted at 7, with Pastor Brent Lenhart and Pastor Ben Houdeshell, officiating.
