Debra Holden

Debra Ann Holden, 68, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 3:18 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg. 

She was born July 4, 1955, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Graydon M. and Ruby N. (Weikel) Kratzer. On December 21, 2009, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, she married Ellsworth “Wayne” W. Holden, Sr., who preceded her in death April 20, 2020.

Debra was a 1973 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and attended Susquehanna University.

She was employed in data processing and accounting at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, from 1973 until she retired in 2014.

Surviving are one sister, Ruth Ettinger, of Mifflinburg; one niece, Tasha and her husband Jerry Rute of Mifflinburg; one nephew, Shane and his wife Heather Ettinger of Milton; 5 great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary, Kayden, Isabella, Andrew, and Erin; one step-son, E. Wayne, Jr., of Tennessee; one step-daughter, Andrea Alam of Virginia; one step-grandson, Zachary Alam of Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Clausey and Lisa Clausey, both of Maryland; mother-in-law, Frances Holden, of Maryland; and two special friends, Michelle Keister of Penns Creek and Brenda Houdeshell of Mifflinburg.

She was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, Warren Holden, Allen Causey, and Ronald Ettinger; and father-in-law, Kennard Holden.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 am, Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Port Ann Wesleyan Church, 2856 Troxelville Road, Middleburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Paul Sheets and Pastor Brandon Kuhns, officiating. 

Burial will be in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Middleburg.
