Denise M. Bachorski, 46, Mifflinburg
Denise Marie Bachorski, 46, of 682 Wildwood Rd., for the past 14 years, entered into rest at 4:35 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013, at her home.
She was born September 29, 1967, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Gladys L. (Herman) Jamison of Mifflinburg, and the late William Thomas "Tom" Jamison. On May 2, 1987, in New Berlin, she married John M. Bachorski, who survives.
Denise was a 1985 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School and SUN Area Technical Institute, New Berlin, where she studied in the Health Assistant program. She then graduated from Washingtonville School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mifflinburg.
Denise was employed as a nurse at the Buffalo Crossroads Elementary School and Mifflinburg Elementary School, where she was known by the students as "Momma Chorski" and "Mrs. B."
She was the #1 fan at her son, Nick's, sporting events. Denise enjoyed scrapbooking, photography, shopping, baking cake pops, campfires, relaxing on her deck at night with the tiki torches lit, and watching animals.
Denise was known for her outstanding sense of humor, was the life of the party, and was loved by all who knew her. Her common sayings were "It is was it is" and "Too bad, so sad."
Surviving in addition to her husband of 26 years, and her mother, are two sons, Daniel A. Bachorski of Mifflinburg, and Nicholas R. Bachorski and his fiance Miriana Mangiapane of Mifflinburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda L. and Keith Kerstetter of Port Trevorton, and Hattie A. and Dwayne Page of Mifflinburg; and nieces and nephews, Derrick M. and Christa Keister of Philadelphia, Elizabeth A. Kerstetter and her fiance Dustin Carstetter of Port Trevorton, Colby A. Kerstetter of Georgia, Kaleisha M. Page and her fiance Dakota Wright of Mifflinburg, Colten B. Page of Mifflinburg, Josh Bachorski of New Berlin, Shelby Bachorski of New Berlin, and Megan Bachorski of New Berlin.
There will be no public viewing prior to the service. The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Tuesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, with Rev. Alice Rauch, officiating.
Burial will be in the New Berlin Cemetery.
Friends are will be received at the Bachorski family home, 682 Wildwood Rd., following the committal service.
