Diane Fallon

June 11, 1936 — February 27, 2016

SELINSGROVE – Diane Esther Fallon, 79, entered into rest Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Manor at Penn Village, following a long illness.

She was born June 11, 1936, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Dorman) Fallon.

Diane graduated from Mifflinburg High School.  Shortly after graduation, she pursued a career in business.

She was employed as a secretary for Moore’s Business Forms, Lewisburg, WUDO Radio, Lewisburg, Warshals, Milton, Merle Phillips Office in Sunbury and Harrisburg, and for the Department of Defense, Mechanicsburg.

As a strong independent woman in the mid 80's, Diane started her own business, Professional Christian Dating Service, and was successful for over a decade with many marriages, until she retired.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking walks, cooking, and playing games.  Diane always had a soft spot for animals and often cared for and found homes for strays.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and April Goss of Hartleton; one sister, Rosemary Fallon of Penns Creek; one brother, Patrick Fallon of Watsontown; three grandchildren, Brandi Goss of Northumberland, Madison Goss of Lewisburg, and Zachary Goss of Casselberry, Florida.

She was preceded in death by one son, Tracy Goss; two sisters, Jacklyn Dale, and Judy Fallon; one brother, Francis Fallon; and one brother-in-law, Jim Dale.

Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11.

Burial will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
