Dolores John

Dolores Fay John, 84, of 113 Blue Spruce Lane, Mifflinburg, since 1994, entered into rest at 2:35 a.m., Friday, May 19, 2017, at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born December 12, 1932, in Chillisquaque, a daughter of the late Lester and Etta (Edinger) Keefer.  On May 26, 1954, she married Leroy F. Long, who preceded her in death April 6, 1994.  Dolores married Peter H. John in 2006, who survives.

Dolores was a member of the Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church, Lewisburg.

She was employed at Yorktowne Cabinets, Mifflinburg, for many years.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are one son and daughter-in-law, Richard E. and Ricki Long of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Genevieve Keefer of Vicksburg; one sister, Joyce Weller of Millmont; and four grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church, 954 Johnson Mill Rd., Lewisburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Daniel Hicks, officiating.

Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
