Donald E. Dodge, 76, Quakertown

Donald Elroy Dodge, 76, of 232 Yankee Rd., formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 11:39 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township.

He was born February 17, 1935, in Milton, a son of the late Theron and Hazel (Gilbert) Dodge. He married Carmella Mae Collins. She preceded him in death in 1984.

Donald was a 1953 graduate of Lewisburg High School.

He honorably served in the Army from January 28, 1958, until his honorable discharge January 27, 1964.

Donald was employed at Genardi Foods, Philadelphia, for many years.

He was a member of the Dreisbach United Church of Christ, Lewisburg.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Douglas Dodge of Williamsport, and Timothy and Detra Dodge of Mifflinburg; two daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela and Scott Eberhart of Mifflinburg, and Boneita Dodge of Montoursville; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Sonja Dodge of Mifflinburg; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Saraelen and Joe Biro of Allentown, Nancy Sechler of Lewisburg, and Shirley Eisenhower of Selinsgrove; and three grandchildren, Amber Eberhart, Justin Eberhart, and Caitlin Dodge.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Dodge and Kay Dodge; and one sister, Grace Herman.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Michael C. Romig, officiating.

Burial will be in the Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
