Donna J. Stahl, 61, Millmont

Donna Jane Stahl, 61, of 95 Glen Iron Rd., entered into rest at 4:35 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at SUN Home Hospice Care Center, Sunbury, where she had been a resident for one week.

She was born November 1, 1951, in New Columbia, a daughter of the late John and June (Milheim) Vargo. On June 5, 1985, she married William R. Stahl, Jr., who survives.

Donna was a 1969 graduate of Milton High School. She then earned her cosmetology degree at Empire Beauty School, Shamokin Dam.

She was employed at Philco, Watsontown.

Donna enjoyed knitting, picnics, camping, and fishing with her father and sister.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 27 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Heidi Vargo of Salt Lake City, Utah; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, John and Jeanne Vargo of Turbotville, Robert and Judy Vargo of Massachusetts, and David Vargo of Montandon; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Ronald Zerfoss of San Antonio, Texas, and Deanna and Larry Shearer of Milton; and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Minium.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Donna will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, April 12th, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, with Rev. James R. Taylor, SUN Home Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
