Dora Moll

Dora M. Moll, 96, Mifflinburg

Dora Mabel Moll, 96, of 165 Valentine Lane, entered into rest at 2:30 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, where she was a resident since October.

She was born August 22, 1916, in Limestone Township, a daughter of the late Daniel Ellsworth and Emma Clara (Kuhns) Schell. In 1932, she married Elwood R. Valentine, who preceded her in death December 10, 1949. In 1950, she married Henry H. Moll, who preceded her in death February 22, 1987.

Dora attended Mifflinburg High School.

She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher.

Dora enjoyed baking, tending to her flowers and plants, playing cards, and her dog Wilma.

She will be remembered fondly by the many lives she touched. Dora was an extraordinary woman. We are all richer for having known Dora, she will be greatly missed.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Elizabeth J. Valentine of Arizona, and Clarence E. and Linda M. Valentine of Mifflinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary E. and Henry E. Moll of Mifflinburg; 14 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Randall E. Valentine; one daughter, Dorothy M. Ross; and one sister, Edna M. Schell.

A memorial service to celebrate Dora's life will be announced at a later date.
