Dorothy Kratzer

Dorothy Marie Kratzer, 92, of 105 E. Green St., Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 3:32 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born February 15, 1925, in Muncy Hills, a daughter of the late Bruce W. and Stella F. (Vought) Opp. On December 23, 1951, in Montgomery, she married Carl Ray Kratzer, who preceded her in death February 10, 2007.
Dorothy was a member of the Dreisbach United Church of Christ, Lewisburg.
She was a graduate of Montgomery High School.
Dorothy worked at her family business in Mifflinburg, Oliver Parts.
She was a member of the Grange, Shikellamy Car Club.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Donald E. and Diane P. Kratzer of Mifflinburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Florence E. and Larry R. Long of New Columbia; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Orvene Opp of South Williamsport; one sister, Margaret Fenstermaker of Muncy; 8 grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa and Keith Herrold, Donald Kratzer, Jr., Carl and Moriah Kratzer, Jeffrey and Heidi Kratzer, Brandon and Miranda Kratzer, Rebecca and Brett Harvey, Denise and William Phillips, and Jeremiah and Meghan Long; and 14 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral service will be conducted at 2, with Rev. Nathan Druckenmiller, officiating.
Burial will be in the Dreisbach Church Cemetery.
