NEW BERLIN – Dorothy Faye Miller, 66, a lifelong resident of New Berlin, most recently of 134 Front St., entered into rest at 1:53 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at her home.
She was born April 7, 1949, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Betty (Hackenberg) Herman. On September 11, 1965, in New Berlin, she married Clarion D. Miller, Sr., who survives.
Dorothy was employed as a seamstress at Hi-Li Corporation, Penns Creek.
She enjoyed coaching girls softball with her husband in New Berlin, and flower gardening at her home.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 50 years, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Clarion D., Jr. and Ava Miller of Taneytown, Maryland, and Michael S., Sr. and Amy Miller of Mifflinburg; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Gladys Jamison of Mifflinburg, Mary and Lee Hollenbach of Beavertown, Diane and Donald Kratzer of Troxelville, and Trena and John Gemberling of Weikert; ten grandchildren, Andrew and Sara Sholley, Michael, Jr., Trey, Christopher, Kyle, Jackie, and Katie Miller, Allie Long, and Mazeah Hare; and two great grandchildren, Haylee Sholley, and Andrew Sholley, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
