MIFFLINBURG – Dylan James Swank, 21, of 18 E. Maple St., entered into rest at 8:25 a.m., Friday, January 29, 2016, at his home.
He was born July 28, 1994, in Shamokin, a son of John D. Swank of Atlas and Ronda (Hawk) Balonis of Mifflinburg.
Dylan attended Shamokin Area High School.
He was employed at the Rusty Rail Brewing Company, Mifflinburg.
Dylan enjoyed four wheeling in the mountains with his jeep, working on old cars, hunting, and fishing. He was always willing to lend a hand to people, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family, and niece Lila.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Nadine Swank of Shamokin, and Megan Swank of Millmont; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Hawk of Shamokin; paternal grandparents, Jack and Gerry Swank of Paxinos; paternal great grandmother, Mae Swank of Paxinos; one niece, Lila Long of Shamokin; and aunts and uncles.
He was preceded him in death by maternal grandfather, Kenneth Hawk; and paternal great grandmother, Martha Culp.
Family and friends are welcome to a time of visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6th, at James Kelley Funeral Home, 1001 W. Arch St., Coal Township, where a memorial service will be conducted at 2, with a Franciscan Friar, officiating.
