E. Catherman

E. Marguerite “Margie” Lewis Catherman, 99, of Huntingdon, entered into rest at 11:35 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon.

She was born September 27, 1919, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late James A. and Hazel (Ridgeway) Dutton.  On January 26, 1942, she married Greyson Lewis, who preceded her in death in 1977.

Margie was a graduate of Uniontown High School.

She was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church.

Margie was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Mifflinburg American Legion Post 410 Auxillary.

Surviving are one son, Greyson, Jr. and Charlotte Lewis of Sugarland, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Jane and Don Swanson of Hollidaysburg, and Carol King of Tyrone; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Luckett; one brother, James Dutton; two sisters, Ruth Rawlings, and Dorothy Caton; and one grandson, Eric Swanson.

Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
