Earl William Erb, Sr., 73, of 9715 Buffalo Rd., for the past 20 years, entered into rest at 9:55 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born July 10, 1938, in Mifflinburg, a son of the late Stern and Roxy Erb.
Earl was employed at ACF Industries, Milton, for 15 years.
Surviving are three sons, Keith A. Erb, of Mifflinburg, Earl W. Erb, Jr., of Lewisburg, and Nathan E. Erb, of Mifflinburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Evelyn Erb of Milton; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty "Sally" and Grant Marks, of West Milton; 6 grandchildren, Nathan M. Erb, Cheyenne E. Erb, Catherine E. Kahley, Anthony W. Erb, Cody D. Erb, and Cerrena M. Erb; and 2 great grandchildren, Daulton and Austin Erb.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters, Hazel Fry, Lester Erb, Pauline Reber, Catherine Hartman, Evelyn Thomas, Isabelle Meckley, and Glenn Erb.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
