Elizabeth "Betty" J. Morrisette a�" Grenoble, 90, Lewisburg

Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Morrisette a�" Grenoble, 90, of 50 N. 3rd St., formerly of Hatboro and the Poconos, entered into rest at 4:23 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

She was born December 23, 1921, in Hartleton, a daughter of the late Richard S. and Miriam (Swanger) Diehl. In 1943, she married T. Jackson Morrisette, who preceded her in death in 1995. In 1999, she married Fred Grenoble, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2007.

Betty was a 1938 graduate of Lewisburg High School. She then completed a 3 year nursing program at Frankfort Hospital, Philadelphia.

She was a member of the Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg.

Betty was employed as a Registered Nurse at Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg, from 1943 a�" 1946, and later at Abington Hospital, Hatboro.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sharon Morrisette of Jamison; one daughter, Pamela J. Albers of White Haven; one brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Shirley Diehl of Millmont; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Diehl.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Betty will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 South Third St., Lewisburg, with Rev. William Henderson, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
