Emeline Reamer

Emeline D. Reamer, 92, Mifflinburg

Emeline D. Reamer, 92, formerly of Dietrich Rd., entered into rest at 10:42 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2012, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg, where she had been a resident since September 2011.

She was born January 23, 1920, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late George Y. and Susan M. (Heckert) Dietrich. In April 1946, she married Elwood R. Reamer, who preceded her in death May 1964.

Emeline was a member of the Witmer's United Methodist Church, Port Trevorton.

She was a 1938 graduate of Lewisburg High School.

Emeline was employed as an aide at Laurelton Center for many years until she retired in 1982. Earlier in life, she assisted her husband on the family farm in Dornsife, worked at the Danville State Hospital, and volunteered at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Susan K. and Merv S. Liegey of Milton; one grandson, Christopher Yetter of Middleburg; and two great grandchildren, Owen and Sara.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Sr., James, Sr., and Harry Dietrich; and one sister, Fannie Dietrich.

Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
