MIFFLINBURG a�" Emily Malkowski, 90, of 1145 Dice Road for the past three years, formerly of Philadelphia, entered into rest at 1:20 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at SUN Home Hospice Care Center, Sunbury.
She was born June 19, 1922, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Prokop and Anistazia (Kryok) Bereska.
Emily was a graduate of Kensington High School.
She was employed as a clerk at General Accident Insurance Company, Philadelphia.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Nancy A. and Dorian Burnett, of Mifflinburg, and Joyce A. Skillman, of Newtown; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Bereska; and one sister, Alice Blaskvitch.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
Memorial gifts may be made to the SUN Home Health Hospice, 61 Duke St., Northumberland, PA 17857.
