Erna Wolfe
January 26, 1927 — May 28, 2015
MIFFLINBURG – Erna Wolfe, 88, of 2075 Orchard Rd., since 1970, entered into eternal rest at 9:31 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born January 26, 1927, in Heidelberg, Germany, a daughter of the late Anton and Emelia (Salsmann) Stadler. On July 29, 1948, she married Robert E. Wolfe, who preceded her in death July 7, 1993.
Erna was a member of the Christ’s United Lutheran Church, Millmont, where she donated food for the church West End Fair Stand.
She enjoyed quilting, was treasurer of the West End Senior Center, Millmont.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn R. and Thomas Rice of Mifflinburg; three grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher and Pam Rice of Middleburg, Jason Rice and his fiancé Jennifer of Hummels Wharf, and Derek Rice of Mifflinburg; 4 great grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Carl and Frederick, in infancy.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Spring Mills.
