Esther Finsterbush

MIFFLINBURG – Esther Nora Finsterbush, 88, of 206 Mifflin Place, since 1996, entered into rest at 8:50 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2016, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
She was born February 8, 1927, in Vicksburg, a daughter of the late Harry and Dessie (Grubb) Kline. On January 15, 1945, she married Lawrence E. Finsterbush, who preceded her in death in 1995.
Esther was employed at Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, for many years.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. and Brenda L. Finsterbush of Mifflinburg; one daughter, Wanda M. Finsterbush and her fiancé Palmer Hollenbach of Mifflinburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Richard Spriggle of Freeburg; four grandchildren, Christa Lee-Dana of Danville, Amy Harris of Dewart, Levi Finsterbush of Dewart, and Logan Finsterbush of Mifflinburg; and 5 great grandchildren, Meghan, and Trevor Lee, and Bryanna, Lillyanna, and Preston Harris.
She was preceded in death by 9 brothers, William, Pete, Ammon, Alfred, John, Harlon, Jim, Walter, and Charlie; and 2 sisters, Dot, and Pauline.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
