Ethan Bender

Ethan Reed Bender, 15, of Mifflinburg, went to be with his Savior Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

He was born December 21, 2004, in Lewisburg, a son of Eldon D. and Rachel W. (Kurtz) Bender.

Ethan was a member of Morning Star Mennonite Church, Mifflinburg.

He enjoyed helping with landscaping and lawncare, Ethan loved life and was full of energy.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are one brother, Marshall; two sisters, twin sister Erica, and Janae; maternal grandparents, Mark and Darlene Kurtz of Mifflinburg; and paternal grandfather Jonas Bender of Mifflinburg.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Amelia Bender.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, at the Morning Star Mennonite Church, 1835 Mensch Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, with officiating ministers David Kurtz and Israel Wengerd.

Burial will be in the Morning Star Mennonite Church Cemetery.
