Ethel J. Dietrich, 89, Mifflinburg
Ethel Jane Dietrich, 89, of 2295 Dietrich Road, since 1951, entered into rest at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2010, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg, where she had been a resident since May 3, 2000.
She was born July 23, 1921, in Milton, a daughter of the late William and Jeanette (Ritter) Enterline. On October 17, 1942, she married James C. Dietrich. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Ethel was a 1939 graduate of Milton High School.
She was employed at K.L. Shively TV and Appliances, Mifflinburg, for many years.
Ethel was a member of the Mifflinburg Booster Club, and a volunteer in the craft department at Riverwoods.
She enjoyed wildlife, especially watching and feeding birds.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, James C., Jr. and Cathy A. Dietrich of York, and Phillip W. and Nancy J. Dietrich of Mifflinburg; one sister, Leah Walker of Milton; 4 grandchildren, Libby Dietrich, Tucker Dietrich, Sabrina Guffey, and Dawn Haak; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Enterline; and 5 sisters, Anna Enterline, Margueritte Enterline, Virginia Enterline, Eleanor Reidle, and Geraldine Newburg.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Richard M. VonNeida, officiating.
Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
