Faylene Becker

Faylene F. Becker, 82, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 10:11 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at home.

She was born February 14, 1939 in Selinsgrove, a daughter of the late Arlington Roosevelt and Dorothy (Ocker) Hackenburg.

Faylene was a 1957 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.

She was employed and retired from Value City, Shamokin Dam. In earlier years, she waitressed and had fond memories of working at the Custard Cup, also in Shamokin Dam.

Faylene enjoyed shopping and Weis Markets, and spending time with her granddaughter, Megan, and her cat, Cali.

She is survived by one son, John Becker, Jr., of Middleburg; one granddaughter, Megan Becker of Bellefonte; two brothers, Terry Hackenburg of Winfield, and Larry Hackenburg of Selinsgrove; and three sisters, Marion Ritter of Selinsgrove, Romayne Straub of Mifflinburg, and Janet McAfee of Middleburg.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert, Elwood, and Arlington “Coonie” Hackenburg; and two sisters, Shirley Hackenburg and Marvine Musser.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 27, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
