Frances Wertz

Frances B. Wertz, 91, of Millmont, entered into rest at 10:41 a.m., Sunday, June 5, 2022, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

She was born April 27, 1931 in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Markle) Bilger.

Frances was a 1949 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

She was employed as an Aide at the Laurelton Center.

Frances enjoyed crocheting and reading her bible.

Surviving are two daughters, Loyce Osgood of Millmont and Joyce Kerstetter of Millmont; one son, Ballard Wertz of Millmont; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, and two great-great-grandchildren on the way.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Shively, Jenetta Shirk, Marian Bilger, and Benjamin Bilger; and two sons-in-law, Marlin Kerstetter and Terry Osgood.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with burial at Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rolling Hills for their kindness and compassion.
