George J. Gegox, 79, Millmont
George John Gegox, 79, formerly of Patchogue, NY, entered into rest at 3:30 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2012, at Rolling Hills Manor, where he had been a resident since 2004.
He was born September 9, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late William and Theresa (Abel) Gegox.
Surviving are one sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Eugene Tanner of Mifflinburg; neices, Karen and her husband Alan Geiger of Lewisburg, and Denise and Trevor Forbes of Berkshire, Massachusetts; and nephews, Glenn and his wife Dominica Tanner of Mifflinburg, and Kevin and Stacy Tanner of Plainview, Long Island.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday at the Robertaccio Funeral Home, 85 Medford Ave., Patchogue, NY, where a wake will be celebrated at 8 p.m. A prayer service will be conducted at 9 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home, followed by the interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Queens, New York.
Local arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
