Ginny Rae Grove, 65, Mifflinburg

Ginny Rae Grove, 65, of 204 Hemlock Rd., since 1988, entered into rest Saturday morning, October 16, 2010, at her home.

She was born October 12, 1945, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Frank and Kathleen (Wheeler) Bateman. On August 30, 1980, in West Milton, she married Donald M. Grove, who survives.

Ginny was a 1964 graduate of Emporium High School, and graduated from Olean Business School, Olean, New York, in 1966.

Earlier in life, she was employed at Sylvania Co., Emporium, Jack Eckerd's Drug Store, and JPM Company, Lewisburg.

She enjoyed traveling, Penn State Football, spending time at the beach and with her grandchildren, and warm, sunny days.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 30 years, are one son, Donald F. Grove and his fiance' Ashlea Keister of Middleburg; one daughter Kathleen R. Grove and her fiance' Terry Smith, Jr. of Millmont; two step-sons and step-daughters-in-law, Robert L. and Cindy Grove of Millmont, and Timothy A. and Robin Grove of McClure; one step-daughter, Tammy L. Hetrick of Mt. Pleasant Mills; one sister, Jolene Kline of Lewiston, NY; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Ronald Bateman.

Family and friends are welcome from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m., with Rev. Richard M. VonNeida, officiating.
