Glenn Miller

Glenn Charles Miller, Sr., 83, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 2:11 a.m., Sunday, January 19, 2020, at home.

He was born August 29, 1936 in Rebersburg, a son of the late Myles A. and Grace (Pontius) Miller. On May 8, 1959 in State College, he married the former Ann C. Underhill, who survives.

Glenn was a 1954 graduate of Lewisburg High School.

He served in the US Army from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1958.

Glenn was employed at Moore Business Forms for 33 years, until he retired as a supervisor.

He was a member of the Union County Sportsman’s Club.

Glenn was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church for 50 years.

He cherished his 1958 Ford Fairlane 500 and his 1969 Ford Ranger.

In his spare time, Glenn enjoyed farming, raising beef cattle, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 60 years are one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn C. Jr. and Jaime Miller of Mifflinburg; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathleen A. and Dwayne Ross, and Crystal L. Miller, both of Mifflinburg; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Nancy Miller of Lewisburg, Roger and Carol Miller of New York, and Kenneth and Miriam Miller of Idaho; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and William Bowers of Lewisburg; and seven grandchildren, Tyler and his wife Jordan Ditty, Morgan Ditty, Cailey and Ian Neiswender, Jarrett, Mason, and Lainey Miller.

He was preceded in death by four daughters, Carol Ann, Penny Eileen, Glenda Lee, and Ruth Jane, all in 1969.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Marc Snyder, officiating.

Burial will be in the Penns Creek Union Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post 410 and VFW Post 1964, both of Mifflinburg.
