Guy F. Eisenhuth, 78, Mifflinburg
Guy F. Eisenhuth, 78, of 233 Green St., since 1962, entered into rest at 1:10 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born December 22, 1932, in Buffalo Township, a son of the late Fred R. and Elizabeth (Feaster) Eisenhuth. On February 3, 1955, at the Congressional Christian Church, Lewisburg, he married the former Verna M. (Roat) Dodge, who survives.
Guy was a 1950 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He was employed at the Buffalo Valley Telephone Company, Lewisburg, and as an electrician at Derr Brothers Electric, Lewisburg. Earlier in life, he was employed at Royal Imprints, Lewisburg.
Guy was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, Mifflinburg, where he was a former member of the consistory.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 56 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, Steven E. and Kay Dodge of Mifflinburg; one daughter, Joan M. Fox of Mifflinburg; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Marjorie and Stanley Booney of Sun City Center, FL, and Sylvia Hackenberg of Mifflinburg; and one special grand dog, Lucy.
There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, at the St. John's United Church of Christ, 417 Market St., Mifflinburg, with Rev. Susan Gabbard, and Pastor Tammy Gessner, officiating.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a meal and fellowship with the family following the service in the church fellowship hall.
