Harold Feaster

Harold Feaster, 92, of Red Ridge Rd., Lewisburg, entered into rest at 3:45 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2020, at home.

He was born August 25, 1927 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Donald B. and Miriam (Emery) Feaster. On October 17, 1947, he married the former Edith Zeigler, who preceded him in death October 10, 2003.

Harold was a 1945 graduate of Lewisburg High School.

He was a lifelong dairy and hog farmer.

Harold was a member of the Lewisburg Christian Church/Reformed Baptist Church, Lewisburg for 66 years.

He worked hard but made time to go deer hunting with the Feaster Gang. He enjoyed mowing lawn until he was 90 years old. Harold faithfully attended church and loved visiting with family and friends frequently and sharing homemade ice cream.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy W. and Ora Feaster, Mark L. and Amy Feaster, and Randall H. Feaster, all of Lewisburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah E. and William Criswell of Lewisburg; one sister-in-law, Betty Feaster-Weeder of Lewisburg; one sister, Alice Reitenbach of Lewisburg; six grandchildren and their spouses, Kris and Chad Havens, Tammy and Joe McAleese, Joshua and Mandy Fitzberger, Dr. Michele and Patrick Moseley, Lucas and Melinda Criswell, and Jaime and Art Morris; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Feaster; and one brother-in-law, Carl Reitenbach.

Family and friends are welcome from 9 to 11 a.m., Monday, August 10, at the Buffalo Mennonite Church, 4445 Hoffa Mill Rd., Lewisburg, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Rod Conner, officiating. Those in attendance are recommended to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Burial will be in Mazeppa Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harold's honor to a charity of your choice.
