Helen M. Goodall, 93, Lewisburg

Helen M. Goodall, 93, formerly of 520 Logan Ave., and a resident of Elmcroft since August, entered into rest at 12:50 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born September 14, 1918, in Pottsgrove, a daughter of the late George and Beulah (Sims) Lumbard. In January 1950, she married Marion Boyer, who preceded her in death May 1975. In May 1989, she married Malcolm Goodall, who preceded her in death in September 2007.

Helen retired from Bucknell University in 1989, where she worked in food service.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lewisburg, for 25 years.

Helen was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Milton, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.

Surviving are two step-daughters and one step-son-in-law, Gayle G. and William T. Pepper, and Janice G. Rolecki, all of Lewisburg; three grandchildren and their spouses, Dawn M. and Douglas Shoff of New Cumberland, Douglas G. and Marge Boyer of Milton, and Dwayne A. "Dewey" and Barb Boyer of Northumberland; 6 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two step-sons, Marion C. "Bud" Boyer and Clyde G. Boyer; 6 brothers; and 2 sisters.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 24th, at the First Baptist Church, 51 South 3rd St., Lewisburg, with Rev. MacKenzie Scott, officiating.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
