MIFFLINBURG – Helen Marie Sickeri, 88, of 2820 Pleasant Grove Rd., for the past 57 years, entered into rest at 7:56 p.m., Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Rolling Hills Manor, where she had been a resident for the past year.
She was born November 15, 1926, in Globe Mills, a daughter of the late George E. and Anna (Hummel) Shaffer. She was married to Bernard Ellsworth Badger, who preceded her in death. Helen married Henry Sickeri, on December 23, 1976, who preceded her in death.
Helen was a member of the Buffalo Valley United Methodist Church, Lewisburg.
She was co-owner of The Sandwich Shop, Lewisburg.
Helen enjoyed embroidery, and working in her flower beds at home.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Steven E. and Tammy Badger of Williamsport; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol J. and Richard Stover of Millmont; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Emma Shaffer of Missouri; one sister, Louise Jennings of Kinsport, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, June Frances.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Daniel H. Hicks, officiating.
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
