Jane E. Stine

Jane E. Stine, 75, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, October 22, 2023, at her home.

She was born February 13, 1948, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Paul and Beatrice (Maurer) Romig.

Jane attended West Snyder High School.

She was employed as a housekeeper at Hidden Valley Campground, Mifflinburg, for many years, and as a clerk at Sheetz, Mifflinburg, for over 10 years.

Jane enjoyed exercising at Planet Fitness, Lewisburg, watching WWE professional wrestling, baking, playing cards, attending yard sales, and devoted her time to her two granddaughters.

Surviving are four daughters and two sons-in-law, Natalie and Chris Laukaitis of Mifflinburg, Tracey Rought of Northumberland, Fanny Meeker of Sunbury, and Colleen and Randall Grier of Richmond Hill, Georgia; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Debbie Romig of Middleburg; one sister, May Chappeau of York; and two granddaughters, Tiffany Kreider of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Helena Laukaitis of State College; and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred, Carlo, and Darwin Romig; and one granddaughter, Whitney E. Kreider.

Family and friends are welcome to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, October 28, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Rev. Ricky Phillips, officiating.
