Jarod Dunlap

Jarod S. Dunlap, 20, of New Berlin, entered into rest Thursday, October 15, 2020.

He was born January 14, 2000 in Lewisburg, a son of Lori A. (Hall) and Duane Gessner of New Berlin and Troy D. and Natasha Dunlap.

Jarod was a 2018 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and Sun Area Technical Institute.

He was employed at Mifflinburg Lumber and Walmart, Lewisburg.

Jarod enjoyed cars, traveling to car shows, drawing, spending time with friends, having campfires, and helping his father building in the garage.

Surviving in addition to his parents and step-parents, are one brother, Hunter Gessner of New Berlin; one sister, Claire Dunlap of Florida; one step-sister, Katlynn Weidensaul of Sunbury; maternal grandmother, Joann Hall of Millmont; step-grandparents, Barb and Paul Kuhns of New Berlin; aunts and uncles, Christopher Dunlap of Selinsgrove, Terri and Mike Connelly of Northumberland; Katrina and Eric Mouery of Northumberland, Michelle and Greg Karbich of Sunbury, Michael and Tomoko Hall of Texas, Tammy and Eric Olah of Cressona, Shane and Kristin Gessner of Mifflinburg, and Carlene Magruder of Vicksburg; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Betsy Dunlap.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg. Masks are required and social distancing will be in effect. Funeral service will be held privately.

Burial will be in New Berlin Cemetery.
